Re-employed pensioners

After you retire and start to take your pension from LGPS Councillor, you should tell the Clwyd Pension Fund if:

  • you start to work for an employer who uses LGPS as their work pension, or
  • you become a councillor again

You should tell us whether or not you choose to re-join the pension scheme.

Your current LGPS Councillor pension will stay the same unless it was enhanced. If you retired due to ill health, and your LGPS Councillor pension was enhanced with extra service, we may have to reduce or stop it.
