To change your name or address on your pension record, you must email or write to the Clwyd Pension Fund directly. For changes of name, please supply copies of the relevant certificate which proves your name change.
If you need information about your pension, we may only be able to accept your request in writing. This depends on what information you need.
You can phone or write to us for the following information:
- A pension estimate based on a retirement date you are thinking of
- A retirement pack so you can start to receive your deferred pension
- A quote to transfer this pension to another scheme
- A quote for pension sharing purposes because you have divorced or ended your civil partnership
You can also update your language or communication preference.

If you contact us to report a death, we will ask you to confirm the following information:
- Name of the member who has died
- Date of death
- Their National Insurance number
- Next of kin name, address and contact number
We have to check your certificates and forms to see if anyone qualifies for any death benefits. The Clwyd Pension Fund is responsible for the payment of survivors pension benefits and any death grant lump sum.
If you have any questions about the tax you’re paying on your pension, contact the tax office on 0300 200 3300. Please tell them your National Insurance number and our tax reference number 914/YA14288.
